Lake Superior
Agawa Bay to Old Woman Bay
Join us this summer on a sea kayaking journey of discovery along the eastern shores of Lake Superior. From Agawa Bay to Old Woman Bay our kayaks will meander through a route rich in natural wonder. This spectacular coastline, carved by years of wind and waves, boasts clear waters, rocky outcrops, and sandy beaches. The transitional forest is home to unique plant and animal life including moose, woodland caribou, falcons and arctic plants. Lake Superior has a fascinating geological and cultrual past with shipwecks, Ojibwa sites, pictographs and remnants of the Fur Trade. The pristine and quiet shores of Superior offer a variety of paddling conditions, perfect for becoming a confident and comfortable paddler

Telegraph Cove - Broughton Archipelago
The Broughton Archipelago is a remote group of protected islands and islets located between Northern Vancouver Island and mainland British Columbia. Several pods of Orca whales call this place home in the summer. As we paddle the majestic shores bald eagles often soar overhead against a spectacular backdrop of snow caped mountains. The trip will take us by ancient First Nation paetraglyphs, burial grounds and villages. Sightings of sea lions, playful Pacific white-sided dolphins and curious seals are common. All this natural beauty steeped in history makes Vancouver Island the ideal kayak adventure
