Josh spent the first nine years of his life in Toronto. In 2001 his family moved to Central Mexico and settled in the town of San Miguel de Allende. Through an effort to maintain a connection to Canada, his family sent him to Langskib at the age of 12. Since then he has not spent a summer away from Temagami. He went to university in Thunder Bay, Ontario where he studied Outdoor Recreation Parks and Tourism, at Lakehead University. It was there where he discovered his love for rock & ice climbing. This passion has taken him all over North America and to Asia. Now living on Ottawa and working full-time for NWL, Josh works as a Langskib Program Director and Director of Operations.
