I first arrived and embarked on my first canoeing expedition at the mere age of twelve. Since then, Northwaters Langskib programs have provided me with some of the most astonishingly beautiful and powerful experiences of my life. From Lake Temagami to the Arctic Ocean, canoeing has given me an abundance of amazing opportunities for learning in ways I could have never thought possible. These trips helped me develop my self confidence, build a better sense of responsibility and friendships, and finally gave me the tools it took me to shape the man i am today. As a participant, many of my other trip members have since become lifelong friends. My past experiences with NWL were meaningful in ways that continue to inspire me every day. In the off-season I am a Bachelor of Tourism Management student majoring in Adventure Studies at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, BC. I also enjoy freestyle skiing.
