It’s hard to believe I had my first NWL experience 10 years ago. Over the years, my time spent canoe tripping with Northwaters and Langskib has shaped who I have become. These experiences changed my thought processes, decision making abilities, and have generated a new internal connection with my consciousness. They have also fostered a love and understanding for the trail that I hope will never leave me. I am very thankful for what I have learned through my years at NWL, and love being able to pass on what I know to the participants that come after me. It’s a nice feeling to put in difficult work on the trail, get a wholesome experience, and take these news feelings and skills back home with you. Outside of the NWL life I have recently finished my undergraduate degree in mining engineering, and cannot wait to see what comes next in my world!
